  Official robes, Provost of Dumfries, 1956. These are an exact copy of the previous robes, which date to the late 19th century. Trimmed in ermine, they were worn on official occasions when the Provost represented the Burgh of Dumfries.   Previous provost Ken Cameron in the robes
