Description:

Manufactured by J and M P Bell and Company in Glasgow, this serving dish with a blue and white transfer printed design depicts a man on a chariot being pulled by two horses with buildings in the background. There are smaller fountain and chariot motifs around the rim - this is also known as the 'Triumphal Car' design.
