Pipe Bowl

This pipe bowl was found in a garden in Ayr.  It bears the heraldic crest and motto 'confido' of the Boyd family who were the Earls of Kilmarnock.  The Boyd crest is also that used for the town of Kimarnock and probably means that the pipe was manufactured there.
