Potato fork

By the early 20th century larger farms were harvesting potatoes with mechanical diggers.  Before that potatoes were lifted by large teams of people using potato forks.   The fork is multi-pronged and slightly scooped to assist lifting.  The prongs have rounded tips to avoid damaging the potatoes.
