Miniature double-breasted plough

A model of a typical double-breasted plough.  This type of plough was common in most parts of south-west Scotland from the early 1800s to the mid 20th century.  This smithy-made model was a gift to a ploughman who had been forced to leave work after being kicked in the chest by a horse.
