Dipstick measure

Description:
Measure manufactured by Thomas Macavoy who opened his own dairy utensil works in Stranraer in 1905, the 'Castle Dairy Works'.  Large scale manufacturing ceased after the First World War.  This measure was designed for testing milk levels.
