Ōkyo gafu woodblock-printed book

Ōkyo gafu (Ōkyo's Painting Manual) by Mori Kansai (1814-94), woodblock-printed book, published 1891   This book would have been produced so that artists could study and learn from the painting style of the master Maruyama Ōkyo (1733-95).   It includes common subjects such as foliage and flowers (cherry blossoms, pine, peony) and animals (turtle, deer, ox).   Please turn this book over to start from the beginning! Although we would consider this the front of the book for Japanese people this is the back.  Japanese texts were read vertically from top to bottom and from right to left.
