This Early Modern parrying dagger has an egg-shaped pommel with button that has key-hole shaped pierced decoration that encloses a central panel. The hilt has a wire-wrapped grip with vertical ridges and sailor's knot at its top and bottom. Similar to the pommel, the quillons also feature blank space as a decorative feature, with elongated cut-out sections revealing the structural centre of the guard. The blade's ricasso has etched flutes as decoration, with a perforated central channel.
