Daggers

The wide-reaching origins and expansive periods of production of the daggers in the 8th Lord Howard de Walden's collection demonstrates the vast breadth of his interest in arms and armour. In this section, we see a curved janbiya dagger with Ottoman or Persian origins alongside a rare example of an ear dagger and several continental European examples of parrying daggers. De Walden's collector's eye for both form and function are here demonstrated by the many exquisite hilts paired with sharp blades. Look ahead to see just some of the 8th Lord's daggers.
