The Crouse Stone

A glass plate negative for a postcard of the Crouse Stone near Kirkcowan.  The Crouse Stone is one of the many Bronze Age standing stones still to be found in the Wigtownshire Machars.  The caption on the postcard records the folklore that is associated with so many prehistoric monuments.
