Hunterston House
Hunterston Mansionhouse in West Kilbride, North Ayrshire, was
built for Eleanor and Robert Hunter. Building for the mansionhouse
began in 1799 to the north of the existing 13th or 14th century
keep. The Hunter family were granted the land by Kind David I in
the 12th century.
