Cunninghamhead Mansionhouse

As the name suggests, Cunninghamhead Mansionhouse once sat on lands owned by the Cuninghame family generations. However, in 1728, the Snodgrass family acquired the estate and constructed the mansion, which was extended and portions rebuilt over the next 2 centuries. The mansionhouse eventually came into ownership of the Kerr family, with the then dilapidated old house being purchased by a developer after the deaths of the Kerr sisters. Not long before the renovations were due to be completed, Cunninghamhead Mansionhouse was destroyed by vandals in a fire, and the building was demolished.
