Craigie Castle
Craigie Castle in South Ayrshire was originally built for the
Lindsay family before passing to the Ayrshire Wallaces, when the
original castle fell to ruin after the family moved in 1588. The
ruins which now stand date mainly from the 15th century, with some
12th or 13th century construction incorporated into the scheduled
monument.
