Thomas Rose Miles was an artist active in the late 19th-early 20th centuries who specialised in landscapes and marine scenes, particularly seascapes of the north-east coast of England. During his career, Miles exhibited pieces with the Royal Academy, the Society of British Artists, the Royal Society of British Artists, the Royal Hibernian Society, and Arthur Tooth and Sons Gallery in London.
