Vennel Gallery

Description:

The Gallery is housed in a restored 18th century cottage in the conservation award winning Glasgow Vennel in Irvine.

The Burns Connection
The gallery includes the Heckling Shop were the world's most popular poet, Robert Burns, worked as a flax heckler. A video explains his life and work in Irvine.

Also in the Glasgow Vennel is the Lodging House where Burns lived.

Facilities

Craft Shop
There is a small craft shop at the gallery where you locally made crafts and jewellery may be purchased at reasonable prices.
